Submit Photos

The Wedding Atlas brings 60 weddings blogs together under one roof. Weddings are categorized by location (city, state) or by theme. We’re looking for content, so if you’d like to submit your photos that would be wonderful!

Since the blog only launched recently, we are looking for tons of content and I’m scheduling posts for the rest of the year. To build up a solid library of locations that brides can browse, I’m looking for any engagement, proposal, wedding, or honeymoon photos from the last five years and I have no restrictions about exclusivity, so this could be a good way to get a second round of attention for some of your older photos!

If you would like to submit a spotlight to the site, you have three options. You can:

  • …submit a session through Two Bright Lights, a service that allows wedding vendors to submit sessions to a number of top wedding blogs simultaneously (including sites like . Submissions sent through TBL will be posted faster than other submissions because I want to encourage vendors to use this great resource. You can submit to this blog and all of my other sites by submitting to “The Wedding Atlas”. I accept submissions even if you’re also sending them out to other blogs, so be sure to get your work out to as many editors as you’d like!
  • …send an email to carly@theweddingatlas.com with the first names of the happy couple, the name of the photographer (preferably with a link to his/her website), the location of the event, and any other details you’d like to include, along with up to 20 images. The images must be at least 600px wide and I would prefer if they have the photographer’s logo or watermark (but if not, send them anyway).
  • …send an email to carly@theweddingatlas.com with a link to the post about the event on the photographer’s blog. Please do not send links to private albums, Facebook albums, or Flickr albums.

Note: I do my best to acknowledge each submission that is sent my way, so if you don’t hear a peep from me, go ahead and send it again.
